Will You Make A Visit to Nambale?

Summer 2023 - Evalyn Wakhusama has noted that both the California and Connecticut groups were welcomed and appreciated by both NMS staff and students. They look forward to hosting other visitors in the future. Computer Science at the Nambale Magnet School

Nambale Magnet Students Attend Journalism Symposium

September 1, 2022 - Children of the Nambale Magnet School gain experience from a Kenya newspaper and come out on top in competition!   Grade 8 students were able to get experience and a one-on-one audience with news editors from a national newspaper called Taifa Leo. Namable Magnet School Students Excel Again!

April 20, 2022 – Once again the Nambale Magnet School is celebrating the results of Kenya's National High School Qualifying Exams. Twelve Years of Educating and Nurturing!

November 1, 2021 - This year the Nambale Magnet School celebrated twelve years of educating and nurturing the most vulnerable children of Western Kenya. In 2016, the first NMS graduating class transitioned to high school and 100% of these students (and of all the graduating classes since then) have gone on to high school! Sustainable Fuel for the Kitchen is Now a Reality!

Keeping the Children Safe and On Task

NMS Takes Precaution Against the Coronavirus Threat

March 17, 2020 - Since the Coronavirus started making headlines, the Nambale Magnet School has been vigilant about the threat. Our School nurse took the NMS staff through an exercise of mitigating the threat of COVID-19; she emphasized regular hand washing, sanitizing all places, distancing self and created awareness of what to do in the event of a suspected case. Yesterday, following the Government's directive, we released all learners to go back home for a period yet to be announced. Sat Nam Foundation Provides Solar Enery for School

September 6, 2019 - A group representing the Sat Nam Foundation performed a week of fellowship and service at NMS. Through their fund raising efforts, they were able to raise enough to supply the school with a solar energy system that will be constructed in early 2020. This is an ecological win and will bring operating costs down significantly while offering a more reliable source of electricity ... It's the School's 10 year anniversary and the event was commemorated by a walk through the streets of Nambale.
